The 7th & Palm Story
With a BFA in Visual Communication from Ball State University and 20+ years of professional art, design, and marketing experience, Andrea Smith is an award-winning creative professional, originally from Indianapolis, IN. Having moved to the Lowcountry in 2010, she resides in Bluffton, SC with her husband and rescue pup. Working as a full-time artist, Andrea is the solopreneur behind 7th & Palm, an art, stationery, and gift studio founded in 2015.
Original Artwork
Andrea's coastal and abstract painting work in acrylics and mixed media pulls from deep emotion, a love of the water, playful texture and pattern, and is featured in collections around the country including New York, Chicago, Atlanta, LA, and beyond.
Giving Back: Business with a Purpose
In addition to Andrea's artwork, 7th & Palm is an eco-friendly collection of stationery and greeting cards, gifts, and home goods. Based in Bluffton, South Carolina, Andrea created the 7th & Palm brand intentionally, committed to leading by example with a 1/1/1 giving pledge. Our pledge means prioritizing giving back to the local and global community with our time, profits, and more. This empowers you to support small business, vote with your dollar, and make a difference by giving back through your purchases.
Original art doesn't have to break the bank. By patronizing the arts in ways that can fit any budget, you can select from a range of pieces that are both usable and affordable. Whether you're a new or seasoned art collector, the goal is to help you select pieces that speak to you and ultimately bring you joy.
Sustainability
Living and working as a modern artisan, materials do matter and impact our health, lifestyle, and business choices. Each product is carefully considered and sourced with preserving the earth in mind—so we insist on 100% recycled papers and eco-friendly packaging wherever possible. We curate and produce high quality artisan goods over quantity because little choices add up, and we're intentionally committed to the details.
