Art is so personal—and if I could do nothing but paint, I'd be a pretty happy girl. It's thrilling when someone finds a piece they love or even just compliments your work. Retired and having recently downsized, a wonderful couple fell in love with these minis, and had such a great spot for them that they commissioned two more to match and fill out the space. As they invited me into their home to see where they were displayed, I was reminded of how grateful I am for the chance to do more of what I love. It was so validating to help them personalize their new home with art they love.
