This year, we're reminded how very thankful we are for the opportunity to have launched the 7th & Palm product line. 7th & Palm was created so that we could give away more of our time and resources to help others—and while that sounds daunting and uncommon, that core foundation gives us purpose and stamina for the inevitable challenges that pop up. We're boldly building something worthwhile that is greater than just a single individual or profit margin.
By shopping and sharing our brand with others, you are supporting our 1/1/1 philanthropy model. We pledge to give away at least 1% of our success by donating 1% of our time, 1% of our product, and 1% of our profit each year. Through events, silent auctions, product donations, volunteering, and more, here are a few of the organizations we're partnering with to give back in 2015:
Bluffton Self Help
BSH is a local non-profit in Bluffton, SC that provides free food, clothing, and financial aid for neighbors in need. They help families and individuals through crisis and poverty, all while supporting them to become more self-reliant.
RowKids
ROWKIDS (Reaching Our World’s KIDS) is a non-profit dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide through safe water, education, health, and services. RowKids partners with local churches and schools, working in five countries including Belize, Cost Rica, Guatemala, Jamaica, and the United States, with more in sight for the future.
Lowcountry Montessori
Lowcountry Montessori School (LMS) is a free, nonprofit, state-chartered public school. Currently all K-9 South Carolina students are eligible to attend and receive an education focused on creating an environment that inspires children to become lifelong learners and creative problem solvers. Pregnancy Center and Clinic of the Lowcountry
Serving Hilton Head, Bluffton, Jasper County, and beyond, The Pregnancy Center and Clinic of the Low Country is a South Carolina Non-Profit Benefit Corporation that provides the only free and prenatal medical clinic within 100 miles of Hilton Head, SC. Currently, the PCCLC offers 22 free programs to any woman and/or the general community who accesses its educational and medical services, allowing women to freely and responsibly choose to carry unplanned pregnancies to term. Their care includes resources to help women and families improve their lives through spiritual, emotional, educational, and/or material assistance.
We also chose to support many other organizations in our personal life, but wanted to share these particular passion projects. Let us be an encouragement to you to do something bold and uncommon.
